Draft Cost-effectiveness and Evaluation Calculator. These are NOT current copies.

Draft cost-effectiveness evaluation tools that incorporate the hourly avoided costs by climate zone are now available (below).

The tools allow users to calculate the Total Resource Cost and Program Administrator Cost results for programs implemented in PG&E's service territory. (PG&E funded the tools, hence their current focus on PG&E's service territory). There are separate calculator tools for residential and non-residential measures. Each tool is designed to minimize the computational burden for users. The tools come pre-loaded with avoided cost benefits and load impacts for energy efficiency measures by climate zones. Users need only to select the measure and climate zone (or users may select "system"), input some program details and measure per unit costs, and supply an implementation schedule.

The tools are posted in draft form and are non-binding. PG&E and E3 retain all rights to the tools and documentation. Both PG&E and E3 reserve the right to modify the tools in the future. These tools are being provided only for informational purposes to aid the April 18, 2005 workshop discussions. Any other use or modification of the tools or tool documentation, is prohibited. Downloading the files indicates acceptance of these conditions.
