Our work spans the entire United States and Canada from Nova Scotia to Hawaii, in addition to some international work.
We are analysts, engineers, scientists, economists, policy wonks, and planners. Although hours may fluctuate from week to week (as is typical with consulting positions), travel requirements are minimal, which allows for a high degree of flexibility and contributes toward a positive work-life balance. We also host happy hours to celebrate, get together for quarterly urban outings, eat lunch together on the rooftop deck, and we love sharing pictures of our weekend adventures.
E3 provides abundant opportunities for professional growth. We’re highly collaborative while also encouraging everyone to pursue their own areas of interest. Any team member may play a significant role in a project, and recent grads work alongside senior partners.
We combine ongoing mentoring with a yearlong training program that prepares our team to work independently. We host weekly lunch speaker series and an annual allowance to pursue training around skills you want to develop.
We’re headquartered in San Francisco with 3 additional offices in New York, Boston, and Calgary. We also have a handful of employees working remotely in vibrant cities all over the United States. (See office locations information)
Return to Work: While we continue to closely monitor the status of COVID‑19 and any variants, we have opened our offices to employees who have chosen to return. While we anticipate a broader return to office in the coming months, we have also provided our employees with the ability to work flexibly from a home office.
