Daniel Price brings his background in operations strategy, data analytics, and energy technology research to support the analysis of energy markets and infrastructure investments. Prior to joining E3, Daniel worked for an online local grocer in California, where he led initiatives to improve operational performance and helped establish the company’s environmental goals, including carbon emissions reporting and reduction efforts. He also led operations strategy, driving scalable growth that ultimately culminated in the company’s acquisition. After working to improve the food system, Daniel shifted his focus to the energy transition. Daniel received an M.S. in Energy Systems Management from the University of San Francisco, where his capstone project involved developing an Integrated Resource Plan for Dominion Energy.

Daniel views the energy transition as both a complex challenge and a significant opportunity, requiring changes to existing systems while supporting the growth of new technologies and market structures. He is excited to contribute to work that helps build a reliable, cost-effective, and low-carbon energy system.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys skiing, traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors with his family, friends, and dog.
