Cory DeFraine brings to E3 extensive expertise in energy procurement and decarbonization strategy, serving both public and private sector clients. His background includes financial modeling and emissions analysis for large-scale renewable energy projects, regulatory rate base applications, and advisory work on climate mitigation and environmental attribute management. With experience across the municipal government, consulting, and utility sectors, Cory focuses on regulated and competitive electricity markets.

Cory is excited by the unique challenges that the electricity industry faces to support the energy transition. He looks forward to collaborating with E3’s clients to develop innovative solutions that overcome these challenges and create lasting value.

Outside of work, Cory is an avid cyclist, and he has also been known from time to time to try his luck at running. On rare occasions, he may even bring out his unicycle.
