Anders Luffman’s work centers on wholesale electricity market pricing, integrated systems planning, and regulatory analysis across North American interconnections. At E3, he applies these skills to support clients navigating competitive wholesale markets, transmission investment decisions, and regulatory landscapes. Before joining E3, Anders worked as a summer analyst in Baringa Partners’ Energy and Resources Practice, where he focused on the Southwest Power Pool (SPP), building nodal Locational Marginal Price models, advising clients on price exposure and basis risk, and developing software tools to compare PLEXOS capacity expansion models. He also has experience analyzing energy efficiency initiatives, assessing the decarbonization feasibility of industrial facilities, and composing policy briefs on California energy programs, including Cap-and-Trade and C-PACE financing.
Anders’ passion for energy stems from his experience growing up overseas and seeing how important energy systems are to quality of life, healthcare, and the environment. He is passionate about working to improve access to affordable, clean energy for everyone.
Outside of work, Anders loves learning new things, having adventures, and being active.
