Shana Ramirez is an expert in utility rate design, green utility tariffs, data centers and load growth, and pairing large C&I customers with renewable resources to power their operations. She is an experienced renewable energy development and utility programs senior leader, with experience supporting innovative programs that foster utility-scale renewable energy development deals between utilities and large commercial and industrial customers, especially in the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC). She joined E3 from NV Energy, where she worked for almost 10 years.

At E3 she is excited to help data centers and utilities find strategies to support the current and upcoming load growth in that sector. She is also eager to explore development of green tariffs and rate design to support the tariffs and wildfire risk for utilities and how that can be mitigated through bespoke insurance products including self-insurance.

In her free time, Shana enjoys hiking, skiing, reading and spending time with her family. She also loves gardening and really anytime spent in the vast wilderness of the Sierra Nevada.
