Our Climate Pathways and Electrification work supports forward-looking strategic decisions as companies and governments move to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, electrifying almost everything and decarbonizing the rest with hydrogen and low-carbon fuels.

Integrated
System Planning
E3’s Integrated System Planning work tackles the new technical challenges of a deeply decarbonized grid through rigorous analysis to support transactions and procurement in energy, capacity, renewable energy credits, distributed energy resources, and emissions allowances for utilities, local governments, and large energy users.

Asset Valuation
& Markets
The Asset Valuation and Markets group helps capital flow to the energy transition by converting market, policy, and operational uncertainty into bankable insights to support major investment and strategic decision making.

- Data center strategy
- Strategic advisory for commercial clients
- Energy market price forecasting

- 0-2 years of relevant full time work experience
- Demonstrable quantitative skills
- A background showing a commitment to energy and/or climate change mitigation
Consultants and Senior Consultants
- Master’s in related field and 2-5 years of relevant full time work experience; PhD in related field and 0-3 years of relevant full time work experience; Bachelor’s and commensurate full-time work experience.
- Demonstrated analytical skills in building and running electric sector models and understanding of utility economics
Managing and Senior Managing Consultants
- Advanced degree
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated effectiveness working with various stakeholders across complex energy projects
- Deep subject matter expertise in a core E3 practice area
- Experience leading technical teams or managing projects
Associate Director, Director, and Senior Director
- Advanced degree
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep subject matter expertise in a core E3 practice area
- Leader in analytics, project execution, and/or business development
- Experience managing the development of new strategic projects or initiatives
