Samikshya (Sami) Pandey is an Associate in E3’s Climate Pathways and Electrification practice, where she focuses on load forecasting, customer analytics, and applying data science tools to support long-term electricity system planning. She brings experience building machine learning models, time-series forecasts, and dashboarding tools to help utilities and energy clients make data-driven decisions.
Before joining E3, Sami worked as a demand planning intern at Brooks Running, where she developed forecasting models and Power BI tools to improve inventory and sales planning. She also served as a graduate consultant at Puget Sound Energy, where she built churn and engagement forecasting models for renewable energy programs, and has conducted energy systems research at the Clean Energy Transition Institute.
Sami is motivated by belief that incremental changes in clean energy can create real impact. She is committed to applying her technical skills in data analysis and energy modeling to contribute to E3’s important mission of combating climate change.
Originally from Nepal, Sami enjoys being outdoors and hiking, especially as she explores California’s coastal trails. She also enjoys cooking and is on a mission to recreate her favorite café flavors at home while trying out new coffee spots around San Francisco.
