We’re excited for this year’s San Francisco Climate Week, and especially to kick things off on Monday, April 20, with an event focused on the tension between clean energy development, permitting challenges, and rising costs in California.
California is at a real inflection point. Ambitious decarbonization goals are colliding with rising customer bills, wildfire risk, and growing friction around clean energy development. The big question is, can we move forward without forcing tradeoffs between affordability, reliability, and climate progress?
We’re bringing together a cross-sector panel to dig into that, with perspectives spanning utilities, government, clean energy development, and advocacy. It should be a candid, nuanced discussion with the chance to hear directly from the people shaping these decisions.
Monday, April 20
4:30–6:30 PM (panel from 5–6)
Downtown San Francisco + online
The panel will be followed by light refreshments and networking. Space is limited for the in-person event, but the high-quality livestream is open to all.
We would love to see you there (in SF or online).
