Alexandra Gonzalez

Alexandra Gonzalez supports E3’s Integrated System Planning group, focusing on resource adequacy, particularly through the use of E3’s in-house model RECAP. Prior to joining E3, Alexandra was a transmission planning engineer at Oncor Electric where she was responsible for transmission planning for a large area of North Texas’s Metroplex. While in graduate school at University College Dublin, she undertook an eight-month internship for Ireland’s Transmission System Operator, EirGrid, where she coordinated generation adequacy analysis and generator outage management for the Irish transmission system.

Alexandra is driven by her commitment to clean energy for the improvement of our environment and hopes to apply her experience to help E3’s diverse client base map out trajectories for the deployment of low-carbon technologies.

In her spare time, Alexandra likes to stay active by practicing yoga, pilates and running. She also loves to cook and garden and even made her own composting system.
