Dylan Drugan specializes in integrated resource planning, competitive transmission development, and energy market policy. At E3, Dylan works with utilities and regulators on planning decisions that shape the future of the grid. Prior to joining E3, Dylan spent more than a decade at American Electric Power, where he worked across resource planning, transmission business development, and strategic analysis. At AEP, he developed and filed IRPs for multiple operating companies, built the company’s first integrated generation, transmission, and distribution planning process, and led cross-functional teams to win competitive transmission projects in PJM and SPP. Most recently, Dylan worked at Daymark Energy Advisors, where he consulted for utilities, regulators, and developers on IRP development, large load forecasting, and wholesale market policy, including testifying before the Georgia Public Service Commission on Georgia Power’s large load forecast.
Working alongside clients is Dylan’s favorite part of consulting. He enjoys getting to know a client’s unique needs, how those needs fit within a rapidly changing energy landscape, and how he can help them transform their challenges into opportunities.
Outside of work, Dylan’s favorite part of life is being a husband and father. He enjoys coaching youth sports, spending time with family, and diving into music and classic works of literature, theology, and philosophy.
