Ye Zheng supports E3’s Market Advisory and Valuation practice, with expertise in resource cost analysis, permitting and siting, integrated resource planning, and market price forecasting. She joined E3 after earning her master’s degree at Stanford University, where she focused on sustainable building design and energy systems.

Ye is the lead developer of RECOST, E3’s resource build-cost modeling tool for renewables, energy storage, turbines, and hydrogen. Over the past year, she has expanded the model’s capabilities to help clients navigate market uncertainty, support power purchase agreement (PPA) negotiations, and inform investment decisions. She also uses PLEXOS to support integrated resource planning and market price forecasting.

Outside of work, Ye enjoys discovering new restaurants, exploring national parks, and photography.
